Il Vecchio Ospitale

The house is about 20 minutes by car from the town of Pescia. It is absolutely beautiful here, surrounded by small mountains, very quiet and not so hot. The house offers plenty of space with large rooms, separate bathrooms, a large dining table and of course the beautiful covered terrace. Everything was totally comfortable and very clean.

Very nice welcome and host - spacious holiday home (part of the house - the owners live above or in the back part). Nicely located in the mountains with a garden and pool. Also animal friendly - real agritourism. I would recommend getting new mattresses for some of the beds though - better for your back. Large terrace with table - we were able to use it a lot - even in the evenings. Thank you

Accommodation was more rustic, rooms were as advertised and OK. Enough space and coat hangers. Bathrooms for each room, except for the room with single beds. Living room not used, space for 4 (photo no longer matches). Only the kitchen is more than rustic, gas stove in but OK. Large fridge and freezer, filter coffee machine available. Pool was nice, clean. Barbecue area available. Bring your own charcoal.

Beautiful place to relax and unwind, lots of smaller villages to visit. friendly people no matter where you go. A bit out of the way of typical tourist spots, but that's exactly the best thing about it. The way there is very narrow and adventurous. There is a wonderful restaurant nearby, which is a must for everyone who vacations there, very tasty. The furniture should be partly replaced or improved. Pictures of the accommodation could also be updated, it's not all that pretty

Great welcome, beautiful home

We spent 3 great weeks at Elisa's. The host owns a farm and lives on the same land but leaves us a lot of privacy. She is discreet and very kind. She gave us good information on things to see around etc. The place is in the mountains which leaves a lot of tranquility.

Great house in a great setting.

House is 20 minutes from Pescia via winding roads up. For supermarket in pescia (sandwiches / breakfast) you are 2x 25 minutes drive. We missed the tuscany feeling with a view of rolling hills and cypresses. It was more densely wooded, mountainous. Beautiful villages in the vicinity. House was fine in itself, a bit dated with old saggy sofas, cobwebs, bad mattresses, little daylight, no cozy common area (living room / dining room). Very friendly owners who also run the adjacent restaurant XXX XXX with tasty pasta and pizzas.

The accommodation was rather dirty, especially the kitchen was hardly usable. the dishwasher didn't work for two weeks. The owners are very friendly and lovely.
