The region is known for its flower cultivation, this is where the "Biennale del Fiore" takes place, a flower market/exhibition of international importance. Important, historical resort with 17'500 inhabitants, in the northern part of the region, in a valley, situated at the foot of the Appenin, on a river, 25 km north-east from Lucca, 30 km north-west from Pistoia, 58 km north-west from Firenze. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Thermal bath oder hot springs, health cures at 8 km.

Luna - Hübsches Appartement Susanne R.

Ausgesprochen hübsch eingerichtetes Appartment. Zum Verstauen der Kleidung (2 Bretter) muß man auf eine Leiter steigen. Das Geschirr mußten wir erst nochmal spülen, alles andere war sauber. Großartiger! Gemeinschaftspool, den wir fast immer für uns allein hatten. Internet nur vor dem Appartement zum Parkplatz hin, nicht drinnen. Die Vermieterfamilie wohnt direkt gegenüber und ist sehr freundlich. Leider recht laut im Mai, da der Bauer ständig irgendeine Maschine am Start hatte.

Wir waren nun zum dritten Mal dort und können die Anlage wirklich empfehlen. Sicher gibt es einige Kleinigkeiten, die noch besser sein könnten (z.B. die Härte der Matratzen oder der Sitz der Toilettenbrillen), aber das Gesamtarrangement und die tolle Poolanlage machen die kleinen Abstriche in der Wohnung definitiv wett! Insgesamt ist es sehr sauber, sonst wären wir nicht immer wieder gekommen. ;) Die Besitzer sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Klare Empfehlung!
