- Uniquely lovely house, BUT - UNFORTUNATELY, TOTALLY POORLY MANAGED!!! - Heating not working upon handover - WIFI didn't work at first - Some dirty bedding - Clogged drain - One shower unusable (shower curtain too short) - Damp firewood - Water coming in through the windows. It's not that bad when it rains, BUT there were - STINK BUGS - not one, but hundreds, which we killed. Unfortunately, the accommodation was a complete letdown ;(

The house is located on a steep mountain and so you have to travel a considerable distance to get there with some steep bends. So you are always busy for 15-20 minutes to get to the valley for groceries or for an outing. Narrow roads. The house is complete, beautiful view. Lots of privacy and yet the swimming pool is the closest to this house. Others have to get in the car or walk a bit. No air conditioning!! Disabled toilet. Less for smaller children Lucca nearby. Friendly host.

Once you've been to this place, you never want to leave. The property is owned by a lovely lady who will do everything humanly possible to ensure you have a wonderful few days. Apart from the intoxicating wilderness with a wonderful view of the Tuscan mountains covered in mist in the morning, the nocturnal owl calls, the decoratively furnished ambience of the typical Italian country houses, you can enjoy a perfectly modernized environment.
