You have to be aware of this when booking. The access is not for the faint-hearted ;-) 5 km of really narrow, winding road. You drive with the horn to warn other cars. It is only 18-20 km to the sea, but it takes 45 minutes to get there. Very nice view: you look out over the sea, on the other side a picturesque village on a hill. If the visibility is good you can see the island of Gorgona, for example. The WiFi works best early in the morning. (Be careful with teenagers ;-))

We have been here three times and always feel very relaxed and can really recommend the holiday home. The sea, the mountains and cities (Pisa, Lucca, Florence) are all in the immediate vicinity, but the house and its large grounds are also perfect for relaxing.

Difficult, winding drive....Internet and telephone reception extremely poor...beds excellent...very quiet

The house is in good condition. The landlords were nice. The journey is also easily feasible with a combi hybrid. However, you should first drive past the entrance and turn in the next curve. Then the steep driveway to the house is no problem. Unfortunately, we had to leave the house early because of a forest fire nearby. You have to like to live a bit out of the way, then you can spend nice holidays there.
