The accommodation and the city gave us what we expected. Maybe even more. We will be back.

Nice house, located in the historic center, charming, a little inconvenient parking, not very close to the residence. Valid for enjoying peace and relaxation.

If someone wants to live in a medieval Italian town for a while and have a beautiful view of the Tuscan mountains and valleys, I recommend an apartment in Montecantini VC The apartment has a lot of space, comfortable beds, bathroom is fine. The only thing missing is the space in the wardrobes to put your own things and the washing machine, which is included in the equipment. Note - you actually have to go up a hill to get home. It is an interesting proposition and an alternative to standard hotels.

A great experience in a medieval setting in the stone center of the village from the 11th century. Everything you need is available. It can be recommended to everyone who does not want to drive all the way to the bed and does not insist on a swimming pool, etc. The view of Montecatini is beautiful, especially at sunset.

Simple and spacious rental in the heights of a picturesque village. Italy as we imagine it. Central square of the lively village thanks to the 2 restaurants and the bar. Please note that access is only on foot from the entrance to the village and the very charming alley that leads to the rental is very steep.

Quaint, small apartment on two floors in an old house in the former castle complex in Montecatini. The apartment is simply furnished, but offers a fabulous view over the roofs of the Cecina valley and to Volterra. The apartment was clean but the pots and pans are a disaster. The apartment is very quiet in a small, narrow and steep alley. You can drive to the house to load/unload, but you cannot park there. The driveway is narrow and steep over cobblestones and not for big cars or the faint hearted. ;) There are free parking spaces in the village below. WLAN is available and costs an additional 3 euros per day. A visit to the former copper mine on the outskirts is recommended. Admission including a guided tour (Italian, English, German) with the wonderful Lucia costs 7 for adults. EUR, for children depending on age 3 or 5 EUR. There is a lot of information, a tour through the ruins of the buildings and with a helmet and pocket lame through a small part of the old tunnels.
