Dante 2 Apartment 2 Livorno, Tuscany

Very nice location surrounded by olive trees. The rooms are large, the terrace with a fantastic view. Unfortunately, the cleanliness is not so good. Both the premises and the pool were not really clean. The very nice landlady always responded quickly, but only once. Especially the pool, which was very dirty. After our complaint, this was cleaned once - but only once, that's not enough.

The apartment is at the end of a narrow, steep, unmade and winding road. It has nice spaces and the view is beautiful. Quiet area. It seems that they use different chlorine for the pools in Italy than in the Netherlands, because our children got skin irritation after swimming in the pool. The apartment was not cleaned properly. We found the bathrooms especially dirty and we cleaned ourselves. We indicated this on departure and in the end we had to pay €20 less for cleaning. The beds were decent. Hard spiral mattresses where the spirals were clearly felt. The kitchen could use some extra pans, bowls and glasses. Not everything was clean here either. There was a well-used bowl in the cupboard. The terrace of the house next to the apartment is located under the master bedroom of the apartment. It would be more convenient to place it on the side, so that you can sleep peacefully. All in all had a great stay, but because of the points of attention we would not return. Price and quality were not entirely in proportion.

The rental offers calm and magnificent landscapes. Located on the heights of Lucca, between olive trees and cypresses, it is an ideal location to enjoy the swimming pool (on site), the sea 40 minutes away and the nearby towns (Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, the 5 Lands, Lucca...)
