La Cupola: Lavanda Livorno, Tuscany

Top location with a great view! Lovely pool with brand new rewalling, looks really nice and clean now. VERY quiet location. Great equipment of the accommodation, very nice and helpful landlords who always have a tip. Good location for trips to Florence (by train!), Lucca, Pisa or the sea (approx. 25km). It is also not far into the high mountains, about 1 hour to the starting points of the highest peaks (over 2000 meters) in Tuscany. The only thing you have to be aware of (but it is also in the brochure and in other feedback): the journey takes place via a 4 km long, steep, very narrow road; the last 900m are a gravel, steep forest path. This means that you don't drive from your accommodation to the bakery in the morning or to the restaurant in the evening. The journey is really strenuous and only goes slowly. However, all of this should be known when choosing this accommodation with justification.
