It would be easy to never leave this little patch of heaven, but if you want to get out and about then there are plenty of things to see and do. The Parco Regionale del Lago Trasimeno, with its fabulous lake, is a wonderful place for a walk, just thirty-five minutes away by car. Also thirty-five minutes away is the Riserva Naturale Lucciola Bella, where you can stop off at family-run restaurants and admire the beautiful scenery over a meal of local favourites.
