Argonaut is all about the view. It looks directly down onto the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio – one of Florence’s iconic structures. Even for a city known for its beautiful scenes, this is special. Inside, the flat feels quite retro – it could easily be from the 60s, if you weren’t aware of the more modern amenities. Of course, not everyone will go for that aesthetic, but it’s a coherent, thought-through theme, and one that’s been executed well.
Home truths: *The living room could do with a couple more lamps – it gets lots of natural light, but not much at night
*While there are three bedrooms, there's only one main bathroom, and one smaller bathroom
*The kitchen is well-equipped, but it does feel quite old-fashioned
