Nestled in the centre of Florence, this home is ideally suited for those looking to explore renaissance Italy's beating heart. Florence Cathedral is just a two-minute walk, and plenty of other churches, museums, and basilicas are nearby. Almost as if the home intuitively knows how much walking you'll be doing, it provides plenty of comfort – the bedrooms have character and plenty of space. And while the living room won't fit everyone if you're coming with a full complement of guests, having three bathrooms will help avoid morning congestion.
Home truths: *At full capacity, two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed on the mezzanine in the main bedroom. It is semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited, and there is nowhere to hang clothes.
*This home has lift access, although there are four steps leading to the entrance on the ground floor.
*If you are planning on driving, there is a multistorey car park nearby. However, driving in Florence can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible. That said, we think the best way to see the city is on foot.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
