Located on a quiet street but still within central Florence, this home places the city's charms within easy reach. Just a short walk will bring you to the iconic Duomo, while endless local eateries can be found close by. While the lack of a lift means you'll get a brief workout when you return home, we think it's worth it for the location and functional living space, with plenty of room if you're travelling with another couple.

*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home. *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. You'll need to request them in advance. *You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *If you're travelling for work, you'll find a desk in one of the bedrooms. *This home is located within an apartment building, with a shared entrance. Expect to bump into other guests during your stay.
