If you'd prefer to eat out, then there are plenty of options in the surrounding streets, serving Tuscan classics in family-run restaurants. Art lovers will be delighted that the world-famous Uffizi Gallery is just a twelve-minute stroll away, and you can wander over to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in fifteen minutes. The Palazzo Pitti is close too – a nine-minute walk will bring you to the palace and the stunning Boboli Gardens behind it.
