Ideal for couples interested in cuisine, culture or romance, the home offers a good sized double bedroom with its own balcony (where you'll find the washing machine) and en-suite bathroom. The living area is straightforward, with a TV, dining table, and sofa bed for a third guest, while the kitchen is slightly cramped with a semi-obtrusive column and forgoes bulkier white goods like ovens and dishwashers. Head out the front door and you'll be right in the heart of Florence, with major attractions like the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore reachable in ten minutes.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, one guest will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area. If they want to use the bathroom, they'll need to pass through the bedroom.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request this in advance.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is an induction cooker. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
