Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Set just footsteps from the Duomo and buzzy San Lorenzo market, you’re right in the thick of things at this Florentine bolthole. Not that you’d know it sat under the umbrella of its private suntrap terrace – it’s a surprisingly peaceful spot for coffees and aperitivos. While we love the character and flair, this home has its quirks. The single bedroom will be a squeeze with little floor space (although the en-suite is a perk), and the last two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room. It’s also worth noting that the kitchen is pocket-sized. But for a one-of-a-kind home this central, we’ll take that.

Home truths
This home sleeps five guests, with the last two guests sharing a double sofa bed in the lounge. We think this bed is better suited to short stays or children sharing. It’s also worth noting that the single bedroom is pocket-sized, with limited floor space and no external windows.
The last two guests sleeping on the sofa bed will have to access the en-suite bathrooms via the bedrooms, which won’t suit everyone.
This home is part of an apartment building, and you’ll share an entrance.
The apartment is located on the first floor without a lift, and there are some steep steps to the building's entrance. Be prepared to climb some stairs.
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

However, it’s fair to say that this isn’t a fair representation of the area. Throughout most of the green valley, it’s not the cacophony of snarling engines that you’ll be hearing, but rather the tranquillity of nature. Sitting just underneath...
