This exquisite villa can be found on the slopes of Mount Etna, just outside of Santa Venerina. It makes for an excellent base for exploring Etna’s villages, restaurants and wine cellars, and is just a thirty-minute drive from both Acireale and Giarre. The sights of Taormina are just 30 kilometres away, too. That said, you may find that once you arrive at this breath-taking home, you never want to leave. In a lush setting of gardens, palm trees and potted plants, this home is a delight to behold after a day of travel. Kick off your shoes and head straight to the upper terrace for a glass of Prosecco. From there, you can take in the sweeping views out to sea. Perhaps you’ll go for a dip in the private outdoor swimming pool, and stretch out beside it to dry off in the sun. Alternatively, you could make your way to the ground-floor wellness centre, where you can soak in a Jacuzzi and unwind in the sauna or indoor pool. Book a massage to really indulge. The villa is elegant, with everything you might need for a memorable stay in Sicily. Dine in style at the marble-topped table, or feast alfresco in the shade while drinking in the view.
