Don't be fooled by the stripped-back interiors at this Sicily villa – there are more than enough enchanting sights outside. The patio basks in the island sunshine, and from the infinity pool, you'll enjoy views down the green slopes of Etna to the Mediterranean. Tropical plants and orange trees fill the gardens, offering a peaceful setting for alfresco meals under the pergola. The minimal design might pale a little in comparison with the verdure outside, but the antique furnishings have their own charm – we bet the piano and air hockey table will get plenty of use. Halfway between Catania and Taormina, this home also offers plenty of options for day trips.

*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – there's parking for up to two cars on the premises.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st April and 30th November. It isn't fenced, so please supervise children at all times.
*Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms.
*Although this home can accommodate eight guests, there's only seating for six at the indoor dining table.
*There are steps throughout the inside and outside of this home, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
*This home includes twice-weekly bath towel changes, and once-weekly linen and pool towel changes.
*The twin beds in bedroom three can be arranged as a double on request.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and a high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
