A classic piece of elegant Sicilian architecture, this impressive home is tucked away in beautifully landscaped gardens in Marausa, just a fifteen-minute drive from the city of Trapani. With more than a touch of glamour about the place, you'll be a ten-minute drive from Marausa Beach and ten from the saltpan nature reserve. Set just off the main road, there are shops and eateries on your doorstep too. Inside, there's a timeless feel to the design, with beamed ceilings and vintage-inspired furnishings. An open-plan living space features comfy sofas, a fully kitted-out kitchen and a dining table but it's outdoors where we think you'll be spending your time. Out here, terraces and seating spots offer a choice of places to sit and enjoy the good life. And with views across the stunning pool and garden, all the way to the mountain in the background, you may have trouble dragging yourself away. Wide steps lead down to your garden, interspersed with ancient olive trees, tall palms and fragrant flower borders. Here parasols and sun loungers await, along with lush lawns for children to play on. Lit beautifully at night, it's a special place for a barbecue in the evening. But if you thought this home's pool area was the ultimate luxury, wait until you see its large indoor hot tub and sauna – it's like having a private spa all to yourselves.
