Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

There’s beauty in stark contrasts, and this home exemplifies that sentiment. Usually you’d find a villa as sleek as this surrounded by a landscaped garden that has first been carefully curated in a digital rendering, but here the native foliage is encouraged to grow freely. The result is striking natural surroundings that blend effortlessly with the rolling hills and will keep drawing you back outside in constant admiration. The good thing is, outside isn’t a bad place to be. The crystalline pool is yours whenever you need a refreshing dip, and with luxuriously comfortable sunloungers, you might find yourself alternating between sunbathing and cooling back down. When you’re peckish, retire to the shaded garden furniture for a nibble before returning to the lounger to finish your holiday romance novel under the Sicilian sun. If you’re suddenly feeling adventurous, head towards the coast for snorkelling experiences with a marine biologist for a guide so you’re able to fully appreciate what it is you’re looking at in the deep blue. After, grab a bite to eat from one of the surrounding restaurants, and simply chill on the beach for the rest of the day. The clear water at Lido di Noto might coax you in, and it isn’t too wavy for the little ones, so you can all enjoy the beach together. After a day at one of the nature reserves, or chasing history, you can stop off at the supermarket for supplies to bring back and sizzle on the grill outside. Sit around the barbecue and enjoy regional wine as you catch up on the day's adventures, or kick up your feet in whatever way will grant you the most R&R.

About Val di Noto

Encompassing the south-eastern third of Sicily, Val di Noto is one of the three historic regions of the island. There are eight UNESCO-listed towns in Val di Noto, including Modica, Scicli and Catania, the second-largest city on Sicily. Although each town has its...
