This sunny villa lies on the Ionian coast of Sicily, with a large garden and a private pool that's open in the summer. Spread over three levels, you'll need to climb stairs to reach the entrance, and the lower floor is its own apartment with a kitchenette and living space, ideal for a couple wanting extra privacy. Families will love it here – your host can provide a free cot and high chair, and medium-sized dogs are welcome. We think you'll want a car here – the city of Catania and the hilltop town of Taormina with its beaches are less than an hour away.
