Lucina

We stayed for a week at the Lucina holiday apartment in Oggebbio. The online description is somewhat exaggerated. The apartment is located about 180 meters above the lake and is reached via a fairly steep winding path. Access to the apartment, with its 40 steps, is quite difficult, especially with luggage. While there is a bus service, it runs irregularly, especially on weekends. You have to check the timetable to see whether the bus runs only on weekdays or also on weekends.

Nice apartment on the top floor, please note, there are stairs to climb, but it is doable.

The apartment is clean and bright, with modern furnishings. All rooms are open-plan, including the beautiful beamed ceiling. The magnificent view from the covered terrace and the balcony off the bedroom is unique. From the accommodation, you can enjoy wonderful hikes into the surrounding chestnut forests and mountains. In the town center, there's a small shop that has everything you need. We would love to come back.

The apartment is located high up in a very quiet part of the village. The view is beautiful at any time of day. Whether you want to enjoy sunrise in the morning or the light on the opposite bank in the evening, it's simply priceless. The apartment itself is nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable.

We really enjoyed the time in the holiday home. Thanks to the spring sun, we were able to have breakfast outside in April while enjoying the view of the lake. The location is very quiet, the cleanliness is very good, the facilities are ok. If you want to start on foot from here, you have to be very fit.
