The accommodation has a sensational location, is incredibly spacious, and the 50m² pool leaves nothing to be desired. The kitchen allows for some creativity, but overall, it's manageable. The owner lives on the property but is rarely seen. Unless you need her, in which case she's there immediately. The house isn't new and has its flaws, but it was tidy and clean. In summary, we had a wonderful week at Haus Lydia.

Positive: Size of house, view and friendly staff. Negative: Poorly maintained, most pans do not work on the induction hob. No water pressure; 4 showers, but you can only use 1. Air conditioning does not work (no outside unit) House consists of 2 separate apartments, the top one had 1 pan, 3 spoons and 1 knife. Some sheets and towels had stains. Some beds were very bad; you could feel the springs. All in all I expected more for what I paid.

Not as listed, it’s unkempt. Overgrown & not well maintained. Key holder is unpleasant, and just gives excuses for the state of the house. Dirty floors, bathrooms and kitchens. The walls are peeling. No air conditioning. There is no water pressure, if water is in use downstairs there is no water upstairs. The house has no sofa, or other soft furniture. No oven in any kitchen, just microwave and cook top. WiFi doesn’t work/bad connection. The only positive I can find is clean bedding.

There were 12 of us in the accommodation and our expectations were exceeded. Very nice house, well-kept pool in the middle of the beautiful Italian vineyards.
