Cloistered away in the magnificent Le Marche countryside and surrounded by lovely landscaped gardens, with ancient olive trees and a small lake nearby, this four-bedroom holiday haven is the perfect option for a family getaway. A spotlessly clean interior blends period character and contemporary style in a charming combination that suits your rural surroundings. Large Frech doors allow plenty of light in and provide easy access to the headline attraction – the gardens. Out here, a covered terrace dotted with comfortable seating allows you to enjoy the outdoors out of the glare of the midday sun. Meanwhile, sun worshippers can stretch out by the swimming pool and take in those awe-inspiring valley vistas from the comfort of a lounger. And your enjoyment of the outdoors needn't end just because the sun has set, with a hammock offering the perfect stargazing setup. Nearby, the town of Mondolfo sits atop a hill and offers views of the Adriatic off in the distance. Here, you'll find charming independent shops and bars that spring to life once the evening rolls around. Next, follow your nose to the sea and the coastal town of Marotta, with its miles of beautiful sand and pebble beach and sumptuous seafood restaurants. Those travelling with their pet pooch will be pleased to learn of a dog-friendly stretch where Fido is free to frolic in the waves. The Le Marche countryside is strewn with wineries at every turn, each offering tipples more delicious than the last. However, there's more to this region than lovely booze and beaches. History buffs will appreciate the coastal towns of Fano and Senigallia – both are within a twenty-minute drive – while Unesco-recognised Urbino is famed for its renaissance court, approximately an hour away.
