Settled among olive groves and rose gardens in the Marche hills, this villa is built around outdoor living at its unhurried best. A large pool with hot tub sits at the heart of it all – shaded by olive trees and open from May to October – while a pergola-covered dining area and multiple terraces invite long afternoons that stretch well into the evening. The sweeping valley views from every outdoor space add a quiet drama to it all. Acqualagna, the celebrated truffle capital, is just 2km away, and Urbino's magnificent Renaissance ducal palace is a forty-minute drive.

Home truths:
* The accommodation here is spread across two separate apartments – one on the first floor with three bedrooms and one on the ground floor with two. Each apartment has its own kitchen and living area.
* For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
* The third bedroom is on the mezzanine level and semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited.
* Air conditioning is only available in the living rooms and bedrooms.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair at no additional cost. You'll need to request them in advance.
* The swimming pool is only available for use between 2nd May and 4th October.
* Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free parking for up to five cars on the driveway.
* Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay for no additional charge.
