Palomar

After leaving with mixed feelings because of a visitor's negative review in April, we were very pleasantly surprised. Of course, the house is old and could use a fresh coat of paint, but everything was clean, the mattresses were all fine, not saggy. There was no smell of heating oil anywhere (except in the boiler room itself, which is probably normal). The pool is a dream, and the manager, Mariacarla, is very nice and helpful.

The house is dilapidated and the bedrooms in the basement should not be rented out. There was a constant smell of oil that you could smell all the way to the ground floor in the living room. Some walls in the basement were flaking off from the moisture. One bath and toilet on the first floor were leaking and the shower head was broken. There was a big leak in the skylight in the hall. There were hardly any mosquito screens, so you could not leave anything open (vermin). The living room and most of the beds/mattresses were worn out.

Super nice landlady! House is old, run down and needs to be renovated. Pool was great for the kids! Price/performance ratio is poor. Unfortunately, pictures give the impression of a better standard.

Beautiful accommodation with large pool and many rooms and bathrooms

The view is beautiful! The pool was really not clean, green even the whole week. Poolman did not come to check if it was clean after a day (no vacuum cleaner). Beds on the hard side. Little water from the shower tap. Gas burners had too little power so cooking for 10 people was a challenge. Too little glassware (no large lemonade glasses or glasses to make a nice gin and tonic or Aperol Spritz). Bad (terrace) furniture (sun beds very outdated and defective), chairs not comfortable,

Overall worthwhile location. I was there with (adult) children, small children and a dog; there was enough space for everyone and opportunities to play and relax. The house is very individually designed. The kitchen is well stocked; We also used the opportunity to have a barbecue. Everyone had fun at the pool; it was also cleaned regularly. The garden furniture had small defects, the balcony was a bit dingy. The location is good overlooking Lake Garda.

Nice reception by the manager, house and rooms are not modernized but in good condition. There is a need for action with two mattresses, which are unfortunately worn out. The house has a pool, unfortunately this was not yet usable as was the case with the houses in the neighborhood. The town and baker are within easy walking distance. The restaurant "Pizzeria Villa Al Sole" deserves a special mention. Well worth a visit in any case.

Location and size of the house are very good. This also applies to the pool. However, the interior is quite worn, so the overall price seems inflated. The friendliness of the administrator is to be highlighted positively.

Big and spacious. Everything very clean. Great pool and lots of space in the garden. On-site support worked great and was very nice. We felt good.
