The views of Lake Como are pretty enticing from this home in Nesso. It’s an idyllic spot for a writer’s retreat (the desk overlooking the water is a real highlight), a couple looking to explore the lakefront walking paths or a family seeking a rural spot to enjoy downtime together. There’s plenty of space here, with a third bedroom accommodating two on a sofa bed. The terrace might be our favourite spot, with a barbecue to enjoy alfresco dinners, and while there are stairs to climb here, it’s all worth it when you can open your eyes to the water each morning.
