Overlooking the lively Vincenzo Monti, this apartment ticks a lot of boxes. For starters, the minimalist design features a touch of mid-century modern style – we're big fans of the floor-to-ceiling windows in particular. There are a few drawbacks, but nothing major – the kitchen is on the small side and there isn't a TV. But with shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby, you'll have all you need at your fingertips. Keen to sightsee? Sforzesco Castle is a ten-minute stroll away, while the Duomo is walkable in thirty.

*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
