Located in Milan's fashionable Garibaldi district, this one-bedroom apartment serves as a simple yet comfortable pit stop. While not the most stylish home in our collection, we love the raised windows, which soak the space with sunlight. There's not much to cook with in the small kitchenette, but we think that gives you all the more reason to take advantage of all the Italian cuisine on your doorstep. Plus, with two bathrooms, morning routines are a fuss-free affair.

*Your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same. *This home is near a metro and in a central location, so expect to hear some noise. *The communal areas of this building might appear a little worn and dated in parts. *At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area. *You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
