Clean inside, and with a pared-back look, Brera’s Style is, in itself, a comfortable place to stay. It could do with a bit more going on in the kitchen, but at the moment it still works for light meals, or breakfast. Where the flat stands out though, in a very noticeable way, is its position. Right on the border of Brera and the Quadrilatero della Moda, and only a block away from the Scala opera house, you can’t get more central, or more quintessentially Milanese, than this.
Home truths: *The kitchen felt a bit underequipped – there's no washing machine, dishwasher or oven
*When we visited, the wardrobe was a bit messy
*There are no windows in the bathroom
*Two people can sleep on a sofa bed in the living room
