Between the canals of Navigli and Bocconi University, this apartment is in a privileged position. It's pretty spacious, with much of the floors covered in a beautiful herringbone parquet and a couple of nods to Milan's status as a fashion capital in the form of couture-themed artworks on the living room wall. The dining area is especially chic, thanks to the tall windows, and would make the ideal place to serve up a fresh Italian feast. It's wonderfully quiet here, but the sights and sounds of Milan are not far away – a twenty-minute walk will bring you to the famous Duomo and Zona Tortona Design District.
Home truths: *Both of the showers are quite low, which might be noticeable for taller people
*At full capacity, a guest will be sleeping on a double sofa bed in the living room
*The kitchen is practical but maybe not well equipped for those planning to do lots of cooking at home
*You won't find a welcome hamper or basic essentials here, so we'd recommend packing some bits and bobs to get you started
*The air conditioning in the two larger bedrooms are not as strong as we would like them to be
