We had a very relaxing and, thanks to its location in the forest, peaceful vacation. The house is spacious with two bedrooms and has multiple levels, plus a covered terrace on the lower level. The landlady is very nice. However, the location is somewhat remote, so you'll need a car.

The house has a nice atmosphere, but the furniture is very worn and in some cases does not match the pictures. The mattresses in particular should be replaced. The bathtub and shower are also pretty worn. The kitchen equipment is functional and adequate. Since we were out and about a lot, it was more of an overnight stay for us anyway. In terms of cleanliness, it is only good enough for a satisfactory rating. The on-site support was friendly and nice.

We felt very comfortable in the house. Eating meals on the balcony with a view of the forest was very relaxing. You have your own space in the house (with no through traffic). Our dog liked the cool tiled floor.

E.'s house is beautiful and rustic. There is no heating but there is a wood stove that runs on pellets and a fireplace. You can get a fan heater. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. If you need help, you can always contact her via WhatsApp. E. is very nice and helpful. There is no WiFi but that is also stated in the description. If you want a great view of Lake Maggiore, this is the right place for you :-)

We were disappointed at first when we arrived. We had a different expectation based on the reviews we read. We had read the descriptive text differently and discovered on the spot that the wood stove was the only means of heating. Was pretty cool for the first few days. In addition, there was no wifi available, which is very desirable for teenagers. In the end we had a very nice, good week with our family thanks to the hostess.

130 m to the beach, the path is more than just adventurous. Completely unsuitable for children

The location, and relative privacy of this house to the neighbors on the same compound is great. It would be an amazing holiday destination if the interior would be a bit more updated. The kitchen utensils are hand-me-downs, there is not a matching glass (only 4 in total!) in the house. The mattress/bedsheets are too old, the chairs are simply uncomfortable, the lighting plan can do with an update. Our tip: invest 2000 euro at IKEA to lift the place from 1971 to 2021.
