Rustico Simona (GRV255)

The cottage is idyllically situated in a small ancient village above Lake Como with a breathtaking view. Unfortunately, the beds in both bedrooms are unreasonable. A mattress is saggy, the second has a terrible slatted frame. Unfortunately, the mattresses cannot be exchanged. After 4 days our back hurt so much that we gave up. On arrival I paid in cash for our two dogs and for towels, plus the deposit in cash

This year we spent our summer vacation in Rustico Simona and were very satisfied. The area is fenced in, so it's perfect for a holiday with a dog.

A lovely cottage with a great view of the lake. We felt very comfortable. Everything is super clean and the landlady is very nice. Everything is there that you need in the holiday home and nothing is broken or unusable. The fence has no gaps, which was ideal with the dogs. I would only recommend the second bed for smaller children and not for adults because of the worse mattresses. Only the sun loungers are unfortunately not particularly comfortable and the whirlpool is overchlorinated.

We really liked the holiday home. Very nice reception by the owner, the accommodation everything neat and very clean. Great location, wonderful view of Lake Como.

We had a very good week. Warm welcome by the owner. The house is clean, there is everything you need. The view is beautiful. The only thing a little annoying is the way to the house which is difficult to access, but surmountable. Weather full sun every day To do again.

Neat little house on the slopes of Gravedona

The rustico is very nice and quiet above Gravedona. The place can be reached quickly on foot via a climb, which is of course strenuous. Otherwise by car (parking spaces are always available near the rustico). Overall good facilities. We would have liked softer mattresses and pillows - we would have expected that for the price. Otherwise everything was there that we needed. The view is great and it's not as hot up here as down in the village!

Very nice and uncomplicated landlady. Small house over 2 floors on the mountain slope about 200 meters above the lake, great location with panoramic views. 10 to 15 minute walk to the lake, highly strenuous. Small terrace with green area completely fenced, very relaxed with our young dog. Very good equipment (bath + separate toilet, washing machine, dishwasher, gas stove, fridge-freezer, enough dishes for cooking). The double bed was very uncomfortable for 2 adults to sleep in.

Typical mountain village house, nicely renovated. Very quiet. Superb high view of Lake Como. Access and parking in the somewhat sporty village via a narrow mountain road. Owner very friendly, present and responsive to our needs.

Everything was as we had imagined...the house owner speaks great English so it was a big help for us. The view was amazing!! We're already thinking about vacationing in the same accommodation again next year... Definitely recommendable!!!

Beautiful, well-kept, small house with a great view of the lake. The owner is very nice and helpful. Free linen change after one week.

The accommodation - a detached house surrounded by a fence - was ideal for a holiday with a dog. The layout of the house and the equipment was very good. Added to this is the fantastic view of the lake from the terrace. But this also gives the first disadvantage, because the house is in the mountain and parking with a motorcycle trailer was a problem. Loading and unloading the trailer in the narrow parking spaces and even getting a parking space -summer holidays- was a problem. In addition, there was the quality of the beds -mattresses- which were not the best. We didn't use the whirlpool - chemical pool - it's just a pity that it takes up the space where you could have had breakfast in the sun.

The house was modern and very clean, the view was excellent, but a lot of flies, all German TV channels, one bed was too soft, you can take your dog with you, but the landlady's mother probably doesn't like dogs

Beautiful, lovingly renovated rustico with a great view of the lake. The whole accommodation is equipped with everything to spend a nice holiday. The beds squeak a bit and the mattresses were too soft for us. The small access road is only for experienced drivers. The jacuzzi was awesome too and if anything was unclear the friendly, upbeat owner responded to text messages immediately. Everything was perfectly clean and the delivery was uncomplicated.
