Set in a quiet residential area yet just a short stroll from Como's lakeside and the Duomo, the setting of these two apartments is spot-on. Ideal for two couples wanting to holiday together without overcrowding each other, each apartment is self-contained for a little extra privacy. While the balcony and terrace are a bonus, the living spaces are pocket-sized – especially if you use the sofa bed in the lounge. Don't expect to rustle up much more than breakfast or a light bite in the compact kitchenettes, either. But with so many charming restaurants just a stroll away, we suspect you'll be eating out anyway.

These two apartments sleep seven guests in total, with the last two guests sharing a small double sofa bed in the lounge space. We think this bed is better suited to children sharing or a single adult. One of the double bedrooms sleeps three guests in a double bed and a single sofa bed.
