Simple but practical, this second-floor apartment is well-placed to explore Como. You can stroll into the centre for fantastic shops and restaurants, or head down to the lake and spend the day on the water. Your host is also happy to arrange activities for a fee, from helicopter tours to private chefs. We think this pad is a good fit for small families, as the second bedroom has a pull-out bed better suited to children. Though the living space is snug, it's comfortable and modern. Just note that there isn't a lift here, so you'll need to climb stairs.
