This hillside home made it into our collection for its breathtaking lake views. And the private balcony is perfectly positioned to make the most of the vistas, whether you’re dining alfresco, or sipping a sundowner. While the traditional decor here may not be to everyone’s tastes, we love the history of this home – dating back to 1608, it was originally a convent. When you’re ready to explore, a four-minute drive will take you to the picturesque lakeside town of Cernobbio – known for its historic villas – where you can enjoy a gelato or eat out at one of the many restaurants.
