Il Faro

The room layout was ideal for three adults and three children. The two bathrooms and the large garden for the children to play in were also great. The covered seating area in the garden and the dining area on the balcony were also great. The kitchen was good, except for the odd pans. Due to the numerous mosquitoes and the lack of a mosquito net, we couldn't open any windows in the evening to cool down the very warm rooms.

The apartment on the top floor of the house is in a quiet location. We particularly enjoyed the green view from the terrace at breakfast. The apartment is spacious with two bathrooms. There was plenty of room for our three children. Unfortunately, there were no screens on the windows or mosquito nets, so we had to battle the mosquitoes. The kitchen is very poorly equipped. There isn't even a wine glass. Unfortunately, the mattresses on the beds were also worn out. They need to be replaced!

Adequate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large garden for people and dogs, with a washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped. The furniture is a bit dated. The individual decor was okay.

The chairs were not very comfortable (hard). Bathroom and toilet neat. Kitchen fully equipped. View of the lake from the balcony was nice. Beautiful spacious garden.

location is quiet, clean. The apartment looks exactly as in the pictures (so dated and with too much decoration, but that didn't really bother us). Points of improvement: install smoke detectors. In the larger bathroom you can't shower because there is no shower rod and curtain. In the small bathroom the shower curtain is too narrow, the water runs along and underneath it. Disadvantage: you have to separate your waste and take it to an environmental park. Inconvenient when you are on vacation

The location is extraordinary, you are in less than 10 minutes at the lake (there is a very long pebble beach) and you have a view of the lake with the Chiesa di Santa Veronica in the foreground (from the terrace), the mountains, the beautiful garden with old trees and many birds and the gardens of the neighboring properties. Walks through the extensive villages, to the Rocca di Caldè and to the wooded hills in the hinterland are possible directly from the house. Only the many guard and bloodhounds cause problems.
