Fantastic views and spots to enjoy the Italian warmth abound in this two-storey villa in Liguria. The open-plan living space catches the sun, though we'd prefer to spend our time outside here – with the alfresco dining area in a high-up spot, you get stunning views of the local area as you gulp down Italian cocktails, and the large pool speaks for itself. With the hilly terrain and winding roads, a car is essential here – the closest supermarkets and restaurants are a 7km drive. Further afield, you can head to picturesque Cinque Terre or even cross over into nearby Tuscany.
Home truths: *Due to this home's location, a car is essential. There’s free parking for up to three cars here.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area.
*The traditional decor in some of the bedrooms here might not be to everyone's taste. They feel a little dated in parts.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times. The pool is only available for use between 1st May and 30th October.
*Bed linen and towels are changed once a week.
*The small double bed might be more suited to children than adults.
