Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

There are two choices when redecorating a historic property — you can fill it with furnishings in the style of those around when the home was built or you can drag it into the twenty-first century with a modern interior. The host of this apartment housed within a fifteenth-century palazzo building in the Italian town of Viterbo has plumped for the latter option and we're sure you'll agree with us in saying that the bold choice has paid off. Brightly coloured furniture and fittings combine with playful motifs on the white walls to make for an instantly uplifting atmosphere as you step through the front door. Head to the master bedroom, slide open the glass doors and you'll find a rooftop terrace with wonderful views of terracotta rooftops and distant hilltops. After gazing out over the locale, we're in no doubt that you'll be in the mood to explore — take a leisurely stroll through the traditional streets and pay a rejuvenating visit to the thermal baths for which this town has been renowned for centuries.
