Bowler is very comfortable, and has clearly been designed to tailor to large groups, whether that be friends on holiday, or people on a business trip. Each room has a TV, which makes up somewhat for the lack of any real living room. That’s the big factor with the flat – the lack of communal areas beyond the kitchen. If you’re okay with it (or would even prefer it), then there’s little else to say, as everything is kept very and it’s hard to see how the place could be improved much.


Home truths:
*Depending on the time, the check-in might take place in two stages – the first remote, and an in-person welcome the next morning
*There's no lift in the building – you'll have to climb the stairs to the second floor
*Nothing in the way of basic ingredients is provided
*There isn't a living room – just a kitchen with a dining table
*Even though there's a sofa bed in one of the bedrooms, eight people at once in the flat would feel like a lot
*There's no washing machine or dishwasher
