Vibrant pops of colour create a charming welcome in the open-plan living area where a sofa invites you to put your feet up with a good book and a dining table awaits Italian homemade feasts over glasses of local red. Open the French doors here to step out onto a private balcony – the ideal spot to begin your days over coffee or enjoy a sundowner in the fresh air.

The bedroom, meanwhile, is pared back yet wonderfully stylish with a king-size bed beckoning a restful night’s sleep and a desk space on hand should you need to catch up on work.

When it comes to sightseeing nearby, you’ve got plenty from which to choose. Visit Villa Borghese and its elaborate gardens (a thirteen-minute walk), make a wish by the Trevi Fountain (a twenty-two-minute walk), climb the Spanish Steps (a twenty-three-minute walk) and admire Porta Pia – designed by Michelangelo – four minutes away on foot.
