This apartment is moments away from the bustling Piazza Navona (Rome’s famous fountain-filled square) and a ten-minute stroll from the Pantheon (a Roman temple turned church). You can also walk to the Roman Forum and the Colosseum in less than half an hour – so sightseeing couldn’t be simpler. Set in a historic building, this home balances period charm and modern comforts, offering an elegant base for your city break. You may miss having a proper living area, as the only sofa is the sofa bed in one of the bedrooms. But that shouldn’t matter much if you’re going to be out and about exploring.

Home truths:
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home on the second floor.
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in one of the bedrooms. This is the only sofa in the apartment, as this home doesn't have a separate living room – instead there are two armchairs and a TV in the hallway.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
