A twenty-minute walk from the Vatican, this bright apartment is the ideal Roman retreat. It's a bit further away from the major landmarks, but bus links and nearby metros make getting around relatively easy. We love the light-filled living area, with its neutral palette and pops of colour in the vases, flowers, and books. There's a sofa bed here for two guests, which we'd recommend for short stays or children sharing. A small balcony tops things off – although the views aren't the most inspiring, it's still a nice spot to unwind after sightseeing.
Home truths: *At full capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. If you'd like ample space for socialising, we suggest a maximum guest count of two.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot, high chair, and children's tableware on request.
*The balcony is tiny and has a sink – we think it could do with a refresh. It also overlooks the neighbouring buildings, so it lacks privacy.
*There’s a desk in the bedroom if you plan to work during your stay.
*On arrival, you'll receive a welcome basket containing Italian products.
*Free on-street parking is available in the area. However, a car isn’t necessary in Rome. The nearest metro station is Baldo degli Ubaldi, about a ten-minute walk away.
