Inside, the place is rustic yet comfortable, with everything you need no matter the length of your stay. Down on the ground, you're a six-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain, a short stroll from the Spanish Steps, and 350 metres from the Spagna metro – making the whole city feel remarkably easy to navigate from here.

* If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can provide a cot on request – worth flagging when you book.
* There is a second, smaller outdoor area on the terrace that must remain accessible in the event of a fire – so it can't be used as fully private space.
* Parking here can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
