By the beaches of Sorrento, this hotel-style room is the perfect pad for solo travellers or couples. Location-wise, you're in the heart of the town, with the port just a short walk away. There isn't a kitchen here – just a kettle and a microwave – but this enviable spot means there's a great selection of local eateries and bars to try out nearby. Inside, there's a dedicated (albeit small) workspace, so it's suitable for those on business trips. The freestanding bathtub is also a nice bonus. That said, our favourite feature is the private balcony, providing the perfect place to unwind with an Aperol Spritz in the evening sun.

*Home comforts are lacking here. We think it's best suited to those wanting a place to crash after sightseeing or to use when travelling for work.
*There's no kitchen here, so this place might not be the best option for everyone. That said, you'll find some of the area's best restaurants close by.
*There's a laptop-friendly workspace, but it's quite small.
*If you're travelling with a little one, your host provides a cot for free upon request.
*There's no washing machine or dryer, but launderettes are nearby.
*The bathtub sits directly in the bedroom, so it lacks privacy.
*Bed linens are changed every three days – bath towels are changed daily.
