With an enviable location in Naples' fashionable Chiaia neighbourhood, this three-bedroom apartment is an ideal base for exploring the waterfront. The lack of shared living space and the small kitchenette shouldn't put you off – the grand Villa Communale park is practically on your doorstep, as is Mappatella Beach and a host of restaurants and bars. As a place to rest at the end of a busy day, you can't fault this home – the bedrooms are large, and each is equipped with a kettle and a coffee machine.

Home truths:
*There is no shared living space at this home, and the kitchenette is very small – it feels more like three hotel rooms than an apartment.
*At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on a temporary single bed set up in one of the double bedrooms – considering the size of the home, we'd recommend it for six guests maximum.
*This home is on the first floor of a historic building with no lift, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Please note there are steps up to one of the bathrooms.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free on request.
