Steeped in 20th-century charm, this beautifully restored villa is what dreams are made of. From its grand façade to its palatial interior, this home is practically overflowing with elegance, retaining many of the original design features that made it so popular with its earliest owners. That’s not to say that this place is stuck in the past, though – your hosts have provided plenty of modern amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from building-wide wi-fi to a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for rustling up an Italian-inspired feast with your fellow guests. Start your day with an espresso on the terrace, then head downstairs for a quick dip in the pool. We could easily spend all day out here but, if you fancy venturing further afield, why not head into Nardò for a spot of sightseeing? Spend the afternoon soaking up gorgeous Italian architecture, then come home to watch the sun set over the Puglian countryside before treating yourself to a well-deserved glass of wine in the garden. What a beautiful day, indeed.
