Surrounded by olive and fruit trees, this newly built villa constructed in the traditional Puglian style is ideal for those who want to go off-grid for a little while. Once you've switched your phone off, you can get around to the important business of swimming in the saltwater pool, dozing under the pergola or cooking up a feast on the outdoor barbecue and serving to grateful guests sat underneath the covered terrace. All this and we haven't got around to the home's interior, yet. The white walls and tiled flooring make for an instantly soothing living space, while the wooden furnishings and wicker light fittings add a rustic charm. Although the location feels wonderfully tranquil, the nearest town of Alberobello — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — only takes five minutes to reach in the car, while there are seafood restaurants aplenty in the port town of Savelletri only half an hour's drive away.
