Set in such palatial, private grounds, you’d hardly believe this traditional Masseria home is just a five-minute drive from the beach and five kilometres from the history-rich baroque town of Lecce. Inside, the farmhouse interiors are bang up-to-date, with walk-in shower rooms in every bedroom and an adjoining self-contained bedroom annexe should you fancy a little extra privacy. The villa's owners live unobtrusively behind the house and are always happy to suggest local day trips and tips for dining out. They then like to take a step back so you can feel the home is truly yours.

Home truths
Along with the three bedrooms in the main house, there is an adjoining annexe with a bedroom, en suite shower room, an open-plan living area with a double sofa bed and a kitchenette. This is accessed via a separate entrance.
Your host can provide a cot and high chair for free on request.
The twin beds here can be converted to doubles on request.
Cleaning is provided three times a week, along with a twice-weekly linen change.
We recommend a car here. There is a covered parking area with a rechargeable car port on-site.
Your nearest supermarket to pick up essentials is in San Cataldo or Lecce, a fifteen-minute drive.
The owners live in a separate home behind the villa. They're happy to suggest local excursions and activities.
