This Italian home boasts a private swimming pool and tennis court, as well as a city centre location – a rare find indeed. Situated at the heart of Lecce, you can stroll to the city’s must-sees before returning home to rejuvenate. Inside is packed full of character, with colourful bedrooms sitting alongside traditional features. The kitchen is ideal for preparing snacks and light bites – which can be enjoyed alfresco or at the indoor dining table – but it isn’t the biggest of spaces. With this in mind, we’d suggest nipping into town come dinnertime to sample one of the many eateries on offer.

*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*Though there is an oven and a hob, the kitchen here is small for ten guests. We think it is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
