Overall, we really liked the Rosario house and spent two relaxing weeks there

A very nice, quiet and relaxing property to stay in which is close to the town. The owner has rented the holiday home for some years and it is well equipped. The road to the property needs to be taken carefully. Good location for visiting hill top villages and walking. Casoli is the largest town nearby and easy to access - Friday market. The the medieval village of Gessopalena and the history of the town in WWII was interesting.

Quiet apartment, everything is there for self-sufficiency. Small supermarkets with everything for daily needs in town. The way to the place due to the difference in height (steep path) is better done by car. Own car or rental car absolutely necessary. Heating only works via the wood fireplace, but quickly and easily. But there is always hot water.

If you want to experience pure nature, this is the place for you. A lovingly furnished house, Rosario's care and a local mountain that showed itself in a new light every day made these two weeks a special experience!

Great villa, great place, peace and quiet. The only thing missing was a swimming pool :) The villa was equipped with everything, literally everything you need (except a kettle). The owner was a very nice and helpful person. A small, charming town, the villa is located below the town, access via a very steep, winding road. In general, I recommend to come to Abruzzo by a 4x4 car, but our Ford coped with it. I recommend the villa ...! There is a lot to explore in the area. Sea 40 minutes away, with a pebble beach

It is a very quiet, beautiful place to relax and feel good. Many birds can be heard all day and every now and then a deer comes by. The place can also be reached on foot and offers plenty of shopping opportunities for everyday needs. The area is beautiful and the sea is not too far away for a swim. We liked it very much.

The accommodation is very well equipped, the unique, idyllic location and the friendly and prompt support from the landlord are particularly noteworthy. Even our dog felt comfortable despite the enormous summer heat. Many thanks to R., we are planning a repeat.

Very beautiful and well-kept place, pleasantly isolated with the possibility of reaching many characteristic villages, mountain trails and do not miss the rafting on the Aventino river

We spent a wonderful week here. Particularly worth mentioning is the warm landlord, who gave us many valuable suggestions as to which excursions are available and in which restaurants you can eat well. Those were real insider tips! In the friendly village, the piazza is lively all day long and you can buy everything you need for cooking there. In the Majella massif you can go hiking, but it is also only about 45 minutes to the sea. There is also a great bike path there.

We were 6/7.18 for 2 weeks. in Gessopalena. The house of ..., the landlord, is a little off the beaten track below the village. The road there is partly steep, gravel and riddled with potholes. That wasn't a problem for us, with a normal car. If you are on holiday in Abruzzo, you have to get used to potholes/bumps on the road. We found the house just as it was advertised. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. TV and WiFi are available. At the house is a forecourt and a piece of lawn with shady trees (+ hammock). We sat outside a lot, had breakfast there and also let the day end there (mosquito spray). We enjoyed the quiet very much. The landlord was always available for us. He is a very friendly and reserved landlord. It was so relaxed and beautiful for us that we forgot the day of departure! However, the landlord acknowledged this with a smile. Mille grazie, ...! This house is suitable for everyone who wants to spend their vacation away from mass tourism and in peace. PS At ... you can buy very good red wine, secco and olive oil!
