Fanningstown House is a 3000 sq foot holiday home approved four star property by the Irish Tourist Board with accommodation for 10 people ,young guests are very welcome and we offer a babysitting service on request.

The house is tastefully decorated ,with warm fabrics and colours,.with all the modern convenience of a four star self catering property. The large entrance hall, with impressive stairs, leads to four bedrooms upstairs and one large double room downstairs. Two bedrooms are ensuite, with walk in wardrobes and a reading area.The bedrooms are furnished with king size bed ,high quality bed linen to ensure a good night sleep .
One bedroom have a comfy sofa bed and travel cot.

All rooms have free wireless internet access. Downstairs is a bedroom, bathroom, large kitchen / dining area, a formal dining room and a relaxing sitting room with access to the conservatory and french doors leading to patio area with outdoor seating and secluded landscaped gardens.

Accessible Accommodation

Fanningstown House is wheelchair accessible with French doors and ramp to gain entry .the house itself is very spacious with ample space for mobility equipment and products for independence.Guide dogs are welcome and there is no extra charge.

Adare has two superb golf courses and the world-famous Ballybunion Golf Course is only an hour's drive away. An excellent Pitch & Putt course is also located in Adare. We offer a two night package with dinner on one evening cooked by local chief.

The house is located just 3KM from the village and guests of Fanningstown House have been very happy with the amenities that are attached with the accommodation. We can organise multiple events for your wedding group, for example if you wish to have an intimate family dinner on the pre wedding night or the after wedding for relaxed barbecue or buffet dinner, the choice is yours to decide. Masseurs, make up artist, hairstylist and manacurists can be arranged locally. Woodlands House Hotel is just 1.5km from Fanningstown House. This beautiful, spacious, luxurious house was home away from a home. A real hidden gem. The detail and lovely touches around the house were thoughtfully planned out making this stay both memorable and exceptional. I’d highly recommend this house especially coming into winter as the open fire, spacious rooms (sleeps 10) and well equipped kitchen makes spending time indoors with my family and friends a real treat. While this house is stylish it’s practical too with a large kitchen and a large table area. There are plenty of utensils if you enjoy baking or cooking like I do. When we did stir out, we were only 3 kilometres from Adare. If you have an interest in history like we do- I’d highlight recommend checking out this quaint historical town lined with old Irish cottages that casts a charming character. There are castles and old abbeys to be explored also. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends.

I would highly recommend this home for families or couples who would like a great location with proximity to Adare, Bunratty Castle, Cliffs of Moher, Killarney Nat’l Park and Dingle. Also, day trip to Cork or Kinsale very doable. Lots of space to spread out and very nice backyard for kids playing or adults to cookout. Angela and John were so great to work with, addressed all our questions promptly and gifted a lovely food package for us upon our arrival! Will stay again and recommend to our friends who travel and play gold. ( great also to play Ballybunion and Lahinch).

"Live Like a Local!" We loved having Fanningstown house as our base for our week in western Ireland. The house was quite roomy for 8 guests, and the kitchen was well equipped and stocked w proper Irish breakfast goodies! Super tidy and comfortable for all! We did day trips to Cashel, Dingle, Cliffs of Moher, Kinsale, Limerick, and the Burren easily. The town of Adare is a 10 min drive and we loved the pubs, cafes, historic sights...the riverwalk loop is especially pretty.

"Excellent, very comfortable, well equipped and great location" We stayed for two weeks for a family reunion. Five bedrooms and lots of living areas made for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with heaps of crockery cutlery glassware and cooking utensils. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The location is very convenient for touring and sightseeing.

Loved this place! This house is spacious and located only 5 minutes from one of the most charming towns (Adare). It’s also located centrally to be able to explore much of western Ireland. The house was very clean when we arrived and had plenty of room for our group of 10! It has all the amenities you would need to make it feel like home (plenty of towels, coffee maker, washer/dryer, yard, comfortable furniture, etc.). I would definitely recommend this place!
